Find your voice in English through literature

Read powerful stories and poems, reflect on their meaning and practice speaking English in small, engaging groups.

the problem

You read in English. You enjoy stories, poems, and essays that make you think.

But maybe you don’t often get the chance to talk about them — not in English, not in the way you’d like. At work, you use your native language. Among friends, literature isn’t the topic. And in most English classes, the focus is on grammar drills, not big ideas.

You’re not looking for error correction or textbook role plays. You want something deeper: a place to practice speaking English while engaging with the kind of texts and ideas that actually matter to you.

In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.

the solution

Learn English with Literature is a four-week program designed for intermediate to advanced learners (B2–C2) who want to read, think, and speak in English at a higher level.

Each week you’ll …

1.

Read a short story, poem or essay chosen to spark thought and conversation.

2.

Reflect on meaning, style, and big ideas — suffering, beauty, truth, and more.

3.

Speak. Practice fluency, vocabulary, and confidence in a 2-hour online discussion.

This isn’t a typical language class. It’s a literary conversation, in English.

the program

Over four weeks, you’ll join a small group (maximum six learners) and:

  • Read closely and notice how language works

  • Share interpretations and reflections

  • Practice speaking English with clarity and confidence.

By the end, you’ll not only expand your vocabulary and fluency, you’ll learn to express yourself more fully, and discover what it means to think critically in English.

If you’re an intermediate to advanced English learner (B2–C2) who loves reading and big questions, this program is for you.

In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.
